Job Summary The Community Relations Department is looking for a creative and driven individual who has a positive attitude and a strong desire to learn. Candidates must have extensive on-ice and off-ice hockey experience in girls hockey. Experience can include participation, coaching, or management. This is a paid fellowship, appx. 30-35 hours per week; however, housing and transportation are the fellow’s responsibility. Fellowship will run for the duration of the 2026-2027 Flyers Season Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: · Assist with the set up and implementation of multiple Try Hockey for Free events. · Work with CR team to create new youth programming aimed at growing female participation in ice and ball hockey · Serve as lead instructor for Girls-only Learn to Play sessions, and assist with co-ed learn to play programming · Assist in the scheduling and organization of community activation events, clinics, and other youth hockey related programs. · Create an updated “training manual” for physical education teachers to utilize after receiving equipment donations from the Flyers. Minimum Qualifications: · Excellent communication and organizational skills · Experience playing and/or coaching youth hockey · Experience managing multiple projects, adapting to changing schedules, finishing tasks quickly, and meeting deadlines · Must be a highly detail-oriented, self-motivated communicator who follows direction and functions well in a dynamic environment · Must be available to work evening and weekend hours on an as needed basis Skills Accountability, Communication, Professional Etiquette, Relationship Building, Resilience, Teamwork Compensation Base Pay: $20.00 Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
