Trust and safety
Recognise a fake job before it costs you.
A short, factual guide to job-scam warning signs, and how ROLIVA sources every listing directly from employers rather than from third parties.
01How ROLIVA sources these listings
Every listing on ROLIVA is pulled directly from an employer’s own applicant tracking system — the same posting a candidate would find on that employer’s own careers site. ROLIVA does not accept postings submitted by a recruiter or a third party, and does not vet or endorse the employer beyond confirming the listing comes from that employer’s own feed.
02Warning signs to watch for
Never pay to apply, interview or accept a job offer. Be cautious of a role that never involves a real interview, asks you to pay for training, equipment or a background check before you start, or is offered by someone writing from a free personal email address instead of the employer’s own domain. A legitimate employer does not ask you to send money, gift cards or cryptocurrency to receive a job offer.
03If something looks wrong
Use the “Report broken link” button on the job page to flag a posting that looks wrong, or contact support with the job link and what you noticed. ROLIVA never asks you for payment to apply, and never asks for your password or a one-time login code.
04ROLIVA’s own role
ROLIVA is a discovery and preparation tool. You always apply directly on the employer’s own site — ROLIVA never submits an application on your behalf and does not decide who gets interviewed or hired.
