You will be: developing and maintaining Lakehouse Gold and Platinum layers, building and optimizing data transformation workflows using dbt and PySpark, designing, scheduling, and monitoring data pipelines with Airflow, improving BigQuery performance and supporting FinOps optimization initiatives, managing infrastructure as code using Terraform, implementing and maintaining CI/CD processes using GitHub Actions, supporting cloud security and data governance practices, including IAM and DLP, working with Dataplex for data management and governance, collaborating with stakeholders and engineering teams to deliver reliable data solutions. Your profile: hands-on experience with dbt, experience with Apache Airflow workflow orchestration, srong programming skills in Python, experience with PySpark-based data processing, practical experience with BigQuery, experience designing and developing data lakehouse solutions, knowledge of medallion architecture concepts, experience with performance and cost optimization in BigQuery, experience with GitHub Actions and CI/CD implementation, experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, understanding of data security concepts including IAM, RBAC/ABAC, policy tagging, and DLP, familiarity with data governance concepts, metadata management, and data lineage, experience participating in code reviews and establishing engineering standards, ability to provide technical consulting and collaborate with cross-functional teams, strong communication and teamwork skills. Work from the European Union region and a work permit are required. Nice to have: experience working in enterprise-scale data platforms, experience in regulated environments such as financial services, knowledge of cloud data governance best practices, experience with modern Lakehouse architectures.
