General Repair Technician (Level C) Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a General Repair Technician (Level C) to join the CMS Section Assembly team in St. Charles, Missouri . In this position, the technician will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and repair of Harpoon and SLAM electronic components. Position Responsibilities Include: Maintains equipment and systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components Conduct complex functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment Performs a variety of inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents Documents maintenance and inspection actions as required Trains and resolves problems for less experienced technicians Works under general direction Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim U.S. Secret Clearance Pre-Start and final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required Experience in fault diagnosis, repair, and/or calibration of electronic equipment Experience in fault diagnosis, repair and calibration of complex automatic test stations Experience performing soldering and electronics repair to the component level Experience managing test assets and/or calibrated equipment Ability to read and interpret system prints and schematics Experience troubleshooting fault isolate complex electronics systems Experience in Electronics Packaging, Sensor Integration and Block Diagrams and Schematics Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.) Ability to coordinate calibration equipment maintainability 1+ years’ experience with Radar Operation and Radar Repair Experience operating navigation/radar systems and electro-optical sensors Experience in aerospace industry Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
