This is a full-time onsite role based in the location(s) posted and is performed from the designated work location five days per week. No relocation is offered. The Operations Manager will have overall responsibility for the performance, operation and maintenance of services provided on a mission-critical telecommunications network. This leadership position will provide operational direction and governance across the environment and will work across all programmatic functions to establish an integrated operations model focused on reliable service delivery and continuity of operations. Job Duties/Responsibilities: · Lead the performance, operations, maintenance, and service assurance of critical government network services and enterprise-level operational functions · Direct operations governance across the NOC/SOC environment, service desk, incident, problem, change, maintenance, restoration, fault, and performance-management processes · Establish operational standards, escalation paths, performance measures, service reviews and continuous-improvement practices · Coordinate with program management, engineering, security, test, implementation, BSS/OSS, suppliers, subcontractors and customer stakeholders · Ensure new and transitioned services meet operational readiness criteria before production acceptance, including monitoring, documentation, support procedures, training and handoffs · Oversee operational reporting, service-level performance, major incident response, root-cause analysis, corrective actions and chronic issue resolution · Provide clear operational status, risks, trends, recommendations and recovery strategies to AT&T and customer leadership Required Clearance: Customer Specific Clearances (#clearable) Required Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience managing services in the operations management of services in Safety-critical Environments as defined by the FAA Demonstrated leadership of complex telecommunications, managed network, enterprise IT or mission critical operations Experience with network monitoring, service assurance, incident/problem/change management, maintenance, restoration and operational performance Ability to lead cross-functional teams and coordinate effectively with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and technical organizations Strong executive communication, customer engagement and analytical, organizational, decision making skills. undefined Desired Qualifications: Experience supporting the FAA National Airspace System or equivalent mission-critical federal telecommunications networks. Experience with NOC/SOC, service desk, BSS/OSS, service assurance, operational readiness and performance-management environments. Knowledge of IT service-management practices; ITIL or comparable certification preferred. Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, Computer Science, or a related field. Our Operations Manager's earn between $125,000 -$275,000.
