This is a work from home position that must reside within the state of Arizona. Freedom Fertility Pharmacy, a division of Evernorth Health Services a part of The Cigna Group is looking for Lead Pharmacy Technicians to join our team. As a Lead Pharmacy Technician with Freedom Fertility, you will be a part of a passionate team of pharmacy technicians focusing on fertility medications and patients. You will be using advanced knowledge of the technician processes to act as a SME and leader to the technicians while assisting team leadership with keeping the business needs in focus. What you’ll do: Coordinate and monitor daily workflow in the pharmacy. Lead team huddles and provide initial coaching and direction to pharmacy technicians. Interact with healthcare providers and provide guidance to patients about medication coverage. Support and train new employees. Conduct quality and productivity audits Identify ongoing training and retraining opportunities on team. Create, modify, and adhere to SOP/SWI. Cross trained in multiple areas while maintaining proficiency and accuracy. Act as a champion of continuous improvement efforts for team, site, and work stream. Juggle multiple tasks without sacrificing attention to detail. What you need to do the job: High School diploma or equivalent required. 2+ years Pharmacy Technician work experience. Valid AZ Pharmacy technician license and national certification. Experience with Script Med system. Experience with coaching or mentoring a plus. Ability to resolve escalations using good judgement and decision making skills. Deep understanding of the Pharmacy Technician process. Basic Math skills and Strong experience with MS Office, especially with Excel. Excellent communication skills; written and verbal. Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and quality. Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic environment to learn quickly, solve problems, and make decisions with minimal supervision. Ability to self-direct, multi-task, be accountable, approachable, and organized. Ability to work a rotating work schedule in the Eastern Standard Zone: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM EST 4 days per week 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM EST 1 day per week There is also a rotating Saturday shift from 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM Please note that work schedule will change for Daylight Savings start and end What we offer: Day 1 medical insurance 401(k) plan with employer match Paid Time Off Competitive Benefit package Growth and Advancement opportunities NOTE : We are currently training in a work at home environment, and you will be required to have reliable internet connectivity provided through a wired connection.
