WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH This role will work within Nike Pacific’s Logistics Operations team, the engine behind Nike’s omnichannel distribution network. Reporting into senior logistics leadership, you’ll partner cross-functionally with planning, DC operations, transport, inventory, commercial, and tech teams, while leading collaboration with third-party logistics (3PL) partners across Australia and New Zealand. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR This role calls for a leader who thrives in motion. Someone who sees complexity and brings clarity. The ideal candidate understands the rhythm of retail distribution in Australia and New Zealand and knows how to move people and processes forward. They lead with empathy, coach with intent, and hold a high bar for performance. They’re a strategic thinker who can zoom out to see the bigger picture but stay close enough to drive execution daily. They challenge the status quo, simplify the work, and create space for innovation. They’re comfortable in ambiguity, confident in decision-making, and relentless about improving outcomes. Strong analytical capability is essential as this role demands someone who can translate data into action, optimise cost, and elevate service. Above all, they believe in building inclusive, collaborative environments where teams can do their best work. 5–10 years’ experience managing automated distribution centre operations within a retail or distribution environment, preferably with hands-on experience in AutoStore systems. Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Logistics, Business, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training. Strong knowledge of third-party logistics (3PL) operations across Australia and New Zealand. Experience with SAP, Warehouse Management System (WMS), and Transport Management System (TMS). Proven capability in optimising warehouse automation, including AutoStore workflows, WMS integration, throughput, system availability, inventory accuracy, and safe operating performance. Demonstrated strength in stakeholder engagement, performance management, and cost optimisation. WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON You will lead the flow. You’ll connect teams, systems, and partners to keep product moving fast and accurately through Nike’s distribution network. You’ll turn insight into action, elevate performance, and build a culture where continuous improvement is the standard. Lead daily logistics operations across automated fulfilment, planning, inventory, transport, and distribution, ensuring seamless inbound and outbound execution. Own AutoStore operational performance by monitoring throughput, system availability, order accuracy, and capacity; coordinate issue resolution with 3PL, technology, maintenance, and WMS partners; and drive continuous improvement. Partner with internal teams and 3PL providers to deliver accurate, on-time performance and a unified “One Team” approach. Drive operational excellence through KPI tracking, cost optimisation, and process improvement initiatives. Guide forecasting, labour planning, and reporting cycles to align resources with demand. Solve complex operational challenges using data, analysis, and structured problem-solving. Represent logistics in cross-functional forums, including daily operations calls and monthly planning sessions. Champion continuous improvement through audits, compliance monitoring, and operational best practices.
