Job Description:

The Business IT Compensation Systems Analyst for our IT Organization will support and enhance systems, data integrations, and automated processes that enable accurate compensation and commission operations. This role will design and support automated data validation and reconciliation, develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and ETL/data pipelines, and continuously improve data movement, monitoring, and exception handling while advancing modernization and automation initiatives.

You will partner closely with business users, Compensation, Finance, Sales Operations, and Technology teams to translate compensation and commission requirements into reliable integrations, high-quality reporting, and effective QA, UAT, and production validations.

What You’ll Do:

Data Integration & Automation

Design and support automated data validation and reconciliation processes.

Develop and maintain SQL queries, scripts, and data pipelines supporting operational processes.

Identify opportunities to improve data movement, monitoring, and exception handling.

Support ongoing modernization and automation initiatives.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Act as a liaison between business users, compensation teams, finance, and technology teams.

Knowledge Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Finance, Business, or related field.

3 - 5 years of experience in data analysis, data operations, system integrations, or data engineering.

Proficient in English (level B2 or higher) required.

Strong SQL development and data analysis skills.

Experience troubleshooting data quality issues across multiple enterprise systems.

Experience with system integrations, ETL processes, and data pipelines.

Demonstrated ability to perform complex reconciliations and root cause analysis.

Experience supporting QA, UAT, and production validation activities.

Understanding compensation, commissions, incentive plan processes, and related data requirements.

Ability to validate commission calculations, compensation data feeds, eligibility rules, and payout-related reporting.

Familiarity with sales compensation workflows, quota attainment data, and commission exception handling.

Ability to work East Coast business hours.

Other Education/Certifications:

Experience with compensation systems and data

Knowledge of SAP environments and financial data processing.

Experience supporting compensation, payroll, commissions, or incentive management platforms.

Certification or coursework in compensation, sales incentive administration, payroll, finance systems, or business analytics preferred.

Working knowledge of commission management tools, sales compensation platforms, or incentive calculation engines is a plus.

Training or exposure to sales performance management, commission governance, or incentive compensation administration preferred.

Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.

Working Conditions:

Professional environment (Hybrid).

Occasional non-standard work hours or overtime as business requires.

Represents the company to the customer and the customer to the company in all sales-oriented activities.
