This position is responsible for providingstatistical analysis,direction,andtraining to service clients in GlobalProductdevelopment & Supply (GPS). Supportandguidance in relation to study designand data analysis is providedworldwide to the BMS facilities.

MajorDutiesand Responsibilities:
- Support the GPS network stakeholders globallytounderstand theirstatisticalneedsand determinesound statisticaltechniques for use.
- Collaborateswith processanalyticalteamsand subjectmatterexpertsinManufacturing and ManufacturingSciences.
- & Technology to design studiesand analyzecomplexdatasets for processrobustnessand improvement.
- Supportsanalyticalteamsin QC and AnalyticalSciences & Technology for method lifecycle andreferencestandard qualification, including method development, qualification, validation, and investigations.
- Developsandselectsappropriatestatisticalmethodsforthedesign and analysis of studiesand programstoassurebatchcompliance and preventrejections,reworks,complaints,and productrecalls on a worldwidebasis. For example,determiningspecifications,processcapability,samplingplansand expiry/retestperiods.
- Conductsthorough and carefulanalysis of data,gatherscriticalinformation,and providesappropriaterecommendationsand solutionsbased on corresponding statisticalanalysesandbusinessneeds.
- Demonstratesstrong statisticalskillswhilethinkingin a clear,decisivemanner.Reachesindependent,logicalsolutions.
- Contributesto improvementand standardization of processes,procedures,and systemsin relation to Statisticswhile maintainingflexibility whererequired.
- Furthersthestatisticalawarenessand statisticalprocesscontrolcompetency of other BMSpersonnel;participatesintheirtraining and development,asrequired.
- Creates,communicates,and supportsthehighestcommitmenttoqualityand compliance.
- SupportstheBMSBioPharmaBehaviors.
Minimum Qualifications:
- MS (with 2+ years of experience) or PhD (with no additional experience) in Statistics, Biostatistics, or a highly related field.
- Mastery of statistical methods such as Design of Experiments (DOE), regression modeling, variance component analysis, multivariate analysis, process capability, and control charts.
- Advanced skills using one or more statistical packages or languages (e.g., JMP, SAS, or R)
- Ability to analyzeand interpretscenarios,andthrough effectivestudydesignand statisticalanalysisprovideanswersand appropriatecourses of action.
- Ability to instruct non-statisticians in basic & intermediate statistical methods
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
Desired Qualifications:
- Biopharmaceutical development and manufacturing experience, with a strong preference for CMC statistics background
- Knowledge of FDA/EMEAcGMPsand knowledge of other globalregulatorycomplianceguidelines(e.g.ICH, USP) for drugmanufacturing,packagingand distribution.
- Ability to workwith a widerange of technicallyand culturallydiverseindividuals.
- Capable of managing multiple projects in a dynamic environment
- Detail-oriented with a passion for science and data analysis
