Roles and Responsibilities

Monitor, identify and escalate batch failures as and when they occur

Escalate or resolve tickets

System housekeeping, shutdown and start in accordance with defined procedures and SLAs

Monitoring and incident management adhering to strict SLAs

Complete daily check sheet and reporting

Liaise with support team and third parties

To add For Senior Operation Analyst only:

Responsible for coordination of workload across the shift to ensure teams performance in accordance to SLA’s

Providing the SME guidance for other members of staff

Job Requirements

Skills/Experience required

First line computer operations support experience in financial services

Understanding of batch scheduling tools (Control-M, JP1)

Unix and Windows first level support experience

AS400 experience or Mainframe experience

Good verbal and written communication skills

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely especially when under pressure

Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules

Experience of using service management/incident management solutions (ideally ServiceNow)

Confidence to work independently and within a fast-paced team in a busy environment

Ability to work in an environment with evolving requirements and dynamic schedules

Operation Analyst- 2-4 years of experience
