The position
We arecurrentlylooking forpassionatetalent in the position of Application Engineerfor our TestMeasurement system at Seoul(Bundang)office.
In thisrole,you will providetechnical adviceto the sales team and customers to develop,sell,andsuccessfullyimplementproduct or servicesolutions that willmeet the customer’sneeds. This roleincludes a widerange of differentresponsibilities,forexample:
Thisposition would be an excellentwayfor an engineer to experience into a wideindustriescareer.
Responsibilities
- Tofullyunderstand customersneeds & requirementstoprovidesupports in salespresentations,productdemonstrations,customer / SItraining and solution of applicationproblems for HBKproducts.
- Touseuniquestrengths,featuresand addressing pointstoassist in providing HW/SWsupportto our products.
- ToprovideSI companysupportfordelivering of technical knowledge for systemintegration.
- Toprovidepre-salessupport of companyproductsand systemsbyresolving and coordinating theresolution of productproblems and issues (Problemdocumentation,notificationand escalation).
- Tohelpcustomersunderstand and enhanceproductsoperations and applications.
- Tocontributetodevelop newvaluableapplications, and relay thestatus of thecustomers'technical issuesto ProductLineandMarketing.
- CustomerfacingTestMeasurementexpert in the engineering group.
- Presalesqualification of salesopportunities
- Expect tobe out of the office at customersitesabout30% of thetime.
- Collaborate with engineering teamsto ensuretheproductroadmap enablescurrent and prospectivecustomers

Job Requirements
- MS or BS Mechanicalengineering or related to noise and vibration
- 7+ years engineeringexperience
- 5+ years of working experience in S&Vindustry
- Strong system and application knowledge of T&M
- Strong customerrelationship and networkalreadybuilt
- Good interpersonalskillsand team work
- Excellentcommunication skill in Englishand Korean
- Work with Sales to developsalesstrategies.
- Work with applicationengineersto ensurepostsalessuccess.
- Present at online/in personconferences.
- Contribute and supportHBK’sgrowthstrategy in TestMeasurement system
Education and Certification
You hold a bachelor’sdegree in mechanicalwithapplication,domain or industryexperience
Waysto stand out from the crowd
- A provenrecord in growing an engineering and / or technologyportfolio.
- High aptitude in determining customerneedsand demonstrating thevalue of high-endengineering and technologysolutions.
- FRF / Modal Analysis experience
- Accelerometer / Microphone , DAQsystemexperience
- Source Path Contribution analysisexperience
- Sound Power / Qualityexperience
- Application Engineer experience would be a bonus.
