Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

Reviewing CAD drawings, renderings, layouts, study models, construction documents, and color boards prepared by the Design Builder

Ensuring compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project & client requirements

Reviewing construction specifications and detailed requisitions for equipment and materials

Interfacing with suppliers as required

Coordinating work with engineering and construction units at project site

Reviewing and approving detailed design and construction drawings and specifications prepared by others

Providing technical guidance to Architectural Designer and CAD Operators working on the same project

Performing other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Qualification & Skill Set:

The chosen candidate will meet ALL of the essential criteria below

Essential

Bachelor's degree in Architecture (or equivalent)

Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience

Proficiency in utilizing CAD and other design and presentation software packages typically associated with architecture and engineering is desired.

Strong written and verbal English communication skills

Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills

A demonstrated ability to administer a variety of activities simultaneously, set priorities, and meet deadlines

Desirable

Registration as an Architect

Rail, metro, transit Rail Transit experience in either stations or maintenance facilities
