Responsibilities

Lead and manage a team of Service Managers to deliver exceptional customer service and drive operational excellence within the Consumer Banking Group
Develop and implement strategies to enhance customer experience, improve process efficiency, and drive continuous improvement
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the team, including task allocation, performance management, and team development
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address customer pain points, and implement solutions to enhance the overall customer journey
Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions to optimize team performance
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
Develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and growth
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including internal and external partners
Possess experience in the Mumbai mortgage business, with a proven track record of building a loan against property business from scratch
Demonstrate excellent team handling skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve business goals

Requirements

10 years of experience in the banking or financial services industry, with a focus on consumer banking or mortgage lending
Proven track record of leading and managing a team of Service Managers or similar roles
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to think strategically and drive operational excellence
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
Proficient in data analysis and performance management, with the ability to use data to drive informed decisions
Demonstrated experience in building and growing a loan against property business from scratch
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing business needs
Strong customer-centric mindset and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
