We are looking for an Entry-Level Software Developer who treats artificial intelligence not just as an occasional tool, but as a core pillar of their daily engineering workflow. In this role, you won't just write code line-by-line; you will act as a "pilot" directing elite AI assistants. You will leverage GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, and modern AI coding environments to dramatically accelerate feature delivery while personally owning the final code quality, architectural integrity, and testing rigor.
The ideal candidate has strong foundational computer science skills but excels at code verification, system design, and prompt mechanics. This is a perfect position for a junior developer eager to skip boilerplate assembly and focus on solving high-level logic, performance optimization, and product experience.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- AI-Augmented Development: Deeply integrate tools like GitHub Copilot (for real-time inline generation and autocomplete) and Claude Code / Cursor (for agentic, multi-file code refactoring and debugging) into your daily lifecycle.
- Code Verification & Review: Critically analyze and thoroughly understand every single line of code generated by AI assistants before committing. Identify edge cases, logic gaps, or potential bugs introduced by AI outputs.
- Feature Implementation: Write clean, modular, and maintainable code in modern frameworks (e.g., Python, TypeScript, React, or .NET).
- Testing & Quality Control: Instruct AI tools to write comprehensive unit and integration tests. Manually validate code correctness and participate actively in peer code reviews.
- Prompt Engineering for Code: Craft, optimize, and document contextual prompt chains to solve complex algorithmic tasks or automate developer productivity tasks.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR
- Education / Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a STEM major, or a coding bootcamp background with a strong portfolio of personal projects. 0–2 years of professional software engineering experience.
- Foundational Coding: Strong grasp of core programming principles, data structures, object-oriented design, and asynchronous patterns.
- AI Tool Fluency: Demonstrated familiarity with modern AI coding assistants (such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or Cursor).
- The "Verification Mindset": The humility and discipline to know that AI-generated code cannot be trusted blindly. You must have the ability to debug, trace, and explain everything you ship.
- Systems & Tools: Comfortable using Git, GitHub/GitLab workflows, pull requests, and standard package managers.
- Communication: Ability to ask sharp clarifying questions about business requirements to turn them into precise prompts and code logic.
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT
- Experience working with Large Language Model APIs (e.g., Anthropic Claude API, OpenAI API) or building simple AI-powered features.
- Basic understanding of Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) or agentic workflows.
