As an AWS Solution Architect - Senior Manager, you will design and implement innovative technology solutions to meet clients' business needs, focusing on seamless integration and optimizing technology infrastructure for enhanced business performance. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will leverage your skills and professional network to deliver impactful results, motivating and coaching teams to solve complex problems. You will apply sound judgment, recognizing when to take action and when to escalate, while crafting and conveying clear, engaging messages that tell a holistic story.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will direct teams through complexity, demonstrating composure in challenging situations. You will validate outcomes with clients, share alternative perspectives, and act on feedback to drive project success. Your ability to develop and sustain diverse and inclusive teams, along with your commitment to excellence, contributes to the success of our firm. You will deepen your skills with a focus on staying relevant, initiating open and honest coaching conversations at all levels, and making decisions to resolve issues hindering team effectiveness.

Responsibilities

- Designing and implementing seamless integration solutions and robust platform architectures to enhance business performance
- Leveraging Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop innovative technology solutions that meet client business needs
- Analyzing business requirements and developing technical designs to enable successful solution delivery
- Leading teams in strategic technology planning and execution of cloud strategy initiatives
- Conducting business impact analysis to identify opportunities for optimizing technology infrastructure
- Facilitating brainstorming sessions to drive creativity and innovation in solution architecture
- Validating outcomes with clients and incorporating feedback to refine solutions
- Directing teams through complex and uncertain situations, maintaining composure and focus
- Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders to support enterprise integration efforts
- Promoting the use of evidence-based practices and new technology evaluations to drive competitive advantage

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 12 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Define and drive cloud architecture strategy across the organization.

- Lead end-to-end cloud architecture design for complex, enterprise-scale solutions on AWS.

- Design cloud architecture solutions leveraging the full breadth of AWS services including compute (EC2, Lambda, ECS/EKS, Fargate), storage (S3, EBS, EFS), databases (RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB, ElastiCache, Neptune, Redshift), and networking (VPC, Transit Gateway, CloudFront, Global Accelerator, Route 53, PrivateLink).

- Lead and institutionalize Well-Architected Framework reviews using the AWS WA Tool, driving continuous improvement across all six pillars (Operational Excellence, Security, Reliability, Performance Efficiency, Cost Optimization, Sustainability).

- Design enterprise-scale cross-service integrations using API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, EventBridge, SQS/SNS, AppSync, and Kinesis.

- Establish architecture governance frameworks, review boards, and design authority processes.

- Drive strategic initiatives around performance engineering using CloudWatch, X-Ray, Trusted Advisor, and Compute Optimizer.

- Lead and mentor architecture teams, building organizational capability.

- Engage with executive stakeholders to align technology strategy with business objectives.

Collaborate with DevOps, Security, QA, and business teams for delivery excellence.
