Backed by over 60 years of expertise, we’re seeking a Senior Business Development Manager (m/f) with a strong startup mindset - someone who can shape processes, carve out market pathways, and position a brand‑new product in the UK & IE region even before case studies exist.

In this high-impact role, reporting directly to the Global Product Sales Director, you will play a pivotal part in bringing an innovative construction technology to market. Your contribution will help the industry adopt smarter, AI‑enabled workflows and advance the future of digital building.

Key responsibilities

Own enterprise new‑business sales and market entry across UK & IE region with full ownership of revenue generation for a new product in a small to mid‑size company environment.

Develop and manage relationships with contractors, developers, engineering firms, AEC organisations, government‑linked entities, and regional partners to support market adoption.

Manage long enterprise sales cycles involving multi‑stakeholder buying committees and senior decision‑makers across commercial, digital, and operational functions.

Represent the product vision confidently in early‑stage markets, including localising messaging and adapting value propositions to regional requirements.

Support market development through industry engagement and subject‑matter contributions.

Work autonomously across go‑to‑market development, sales execution, and customer‑insight generation.

Collaborate with global and cross‑functional teams to refine go‑to‑market strategy, sales processes, and market positioning.

Provide structured customer insights to inform product development and roadmap priorities.

Secure early flagship/lighthouse customers and establish a scalable, repeatable pipeline and sales methodology.

Essential requirements

Strong negotiation capability and sound commercial judgement.

Executive presence and confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels.

Ability to generate, manage, and coordinate multi‑stakeholder buy‑in across complex enterprise buying groups.

Advanced presentation, storytelling, and executive‑briefing skills.

Proven enterprise‑level hunter mentality, with strong relationship‑building ("woo") skills.

Ability to sell early‑stage, vision‑led SaaS solutions in environments with limited process maturity or enablement.

High resilience, cultural awareness, professionalism, and long‑term orientation.

Ability to operate independently and effectively in low‑structure, fast‑changing settings.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English (min. Level C1)

Advantageous

Demonstrated enterprise SaaS sales experience, ideally within UK & IE Region.

Industry exposure across AEC, construction, infrastructure, engineering, construction technology, or BIM related domains strongly preferred.

Experience selling emerging or early‑stage solutions and introducing new products or categories to market.

Proven ability to operate independently and effectively in complex, developing, or greenfield markets.

Track record of building and developing new territories from the ground up.
