Role Summary

Provides highly visible customer support through the performance of on-site installation, as well as overseeing any necessary diagnoses, troubleshooting, service, and repair of complex equipment and systems. Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects. Interprets customers’ needs and clarifies if the responsibility for problem resolution falls to sales personnel, customer support reps, or engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Technical Competencies

Hands-on experience with troubleshooting of Linux and packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
Knowledge of RHOCP (Red Hat OpenShift)/K8, Docker, Containers, and Kubernetes deployments on Dell/HP infrastructure.
Ability to work effectively on Linux-based systems and script the tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Independently analyse, troubleshoot, and resolve customer issues.
Collaborate with R&D and System Test (ST) teams to identify and deliver solutions for customer-reported problems.
Drive technical discussions and solution implementation at customer sites.
Participate in deployments, upgrades, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.

Job Requirements

Strong command of Linux administration and troubleshooting.
Good understanding of Kubernetes and containerized environments.
Basic understanding of Networks/TCP/UDP/IP.
Ability to understand the packets in Wireshark.

Preferred Experience

Cloud Native Network Functions (CNF/VNF) support experience.
Exposure to Kubernetes, OpenStack, Docker, and cloud-based telecom deployments.
Experience in customer support, operations, or technical services within telecom environments.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and customer-handling skills.
Willingness to travel based on business requirements.
Flexibility to work in shifts (Morning /Noon/Night shifts) when required.
Ability to thrive in a customer-facing and fast-paced technical environment.
