Conocer y cumplir el procedimiento POS 110 – Manejo Seguro de Vehículos.
Inspeccionar su vehículo antes del inicio de su turno para verificar que este en condición segura para operar; así como registrar todas las observaciones encontradas al momento de la inspección utilizando y cumpliendo con el uso del FEHS 003 - Inspección de vehículos y evaluación de conductor.
Antes de conducir el vehículo el conductor debe descansar como mínimo 8 horas a la noche anterior.
Respetar los límites de velocidad establecidos por EHS, 90km/h, así como las como las que se definen por el MTC en carreteras y dentro de las instalaciones del cliente.
Conocer los peligros, riesgos e impactos significativos de su labor y de las actividades de muestreo.
Comunicar al coordinador de operaciones los incidentes o accidentes en temas de seguridad, salud y medio ambiente.
Verificar que el vehículo cuente con tarjeta de identificación vehicular, SOAT vigente emitido por compañía de seguros reconocida, certificado de revisión vehicular, certificado de opacidad de gases (cuando aplique), contrato de alquiler vigente (cuando aplique), verificar la póliza esté pagada.
Cumplir con lo establecido en los estándares de seguridad obligatorios según el reglamento nacional de vehículos.
Asegurarse que la unidad cuente con el equipamiento de los elementos obligatorios de seguridad para el vehículo que exige el cliente según sus procedimientos.
Cuando el vehículo presente defectos o no se encuentre en buen estado, el conductor es responsable de no conducir el vehículo reportando de inmediato al gestor de flota como al coordinador de monitoreos ambientales.
Responsable de asegurar la cantidad de pasajeros a transportar, esto ira acorde a lo indicado en la tarjeta de propiedad del vehículo está prohibido acondicionar vehículos para el transporte de pasajeros además se tomará en cuenta lo indicado en el plan para la vigilancia, prevención y control del covid-19 en el trabajo.
Asegurarse de abastecer de combustible el vehículo cuando se encuentre con el motor apagado. No deben fumar ni operar teléfonos celulares o móviles durante la carga. De preferencia realizar la carga antes de iniciar el servicio de transporte.
