Details of the Division and Team:

We are seeking a Business and Client Enablement Analyst to join the Global Corporate Coverage (GCC) Business and Client Enablement team in Singapore. Based within the COO organisation, the role provides senior oversight of client lifecycle governance and strategic execution across APAC and the Middle East & Africa (MEA).

The candidate will work closely with GCC Accountable Client Owners, regional and global Business Management, KYC Operations, Anti-Financial Crime, Compliance, Legal, Operations and Technology, and will provide senior-level advice, challenge and escalation; translate policy and regulatory requirements into practical business actions; and drive timely resolution of issues affecting priority GCC clients.

What we will offer you:

A healthy, engaged and well-supported workforce is better equipped to do their best work and, more importantly, enjoy their lives inside and outside the workplace. That’s why we are committed to providing an environment with your development and wellbeing at its center.

  • Flexible benefits plan including virtual doctor consultation services
  • Comprehensive leave benefits
  • Gender Neutral Parental Leave
  • Hybrid working arrangement
  • 25 days of annual paid leave, plus public holiday
  • A culture of continuous learning to aid progression

Your key responsibilities:

GCC Client Lifecycle Governance and Business Advisory

  • Own senior oversight of GCC client lifecycle priorities across onboarding, KYC review, remediation, account activity review, waivers, restrictions, quarantine and offboarding.
  • Set risk- and business-based priorities for the GCC pipeline, agree delivery plans with KYC Operations and control partners, and drive completion against policy, regulatory and client deadlines.
  • Provide authoritative advice and constructive challenge to Accountable Client Owners and Business Management on complex client lifecycle, policy and control matters.
  • Lead cross-functional resolution of material bottlenecks, including policy interpretation, documentation, resourcing, process, technology and ownership issues.
  • Assess emerging operational and financial-crime risks, define proportionate mitigating controls and escalate matters requiring senior management or control-function decisions.
  • Maintain effective governance through concise management information, trend analysis, decision papers and presentations that establish clear ownership, actions and delivery dates.

Strategic Change and Operating Model Execution

  • Sponsor or lead regional and global initiatives that simplify GCC onboarding and lifecycle processes, strengthen controls and improve the client and Front Office experience.
  • Define programme scope, governance, milestones, dependencies and success measures; maintain delivery discipline and escalate material risks or decisions promptly.
  • Identify recurring root causes and work with Operations, AFC, Compliance, Legal and Technology to implement sustainable, scalable solutions rather than case-by-case workarounds.
  • Represent GCC in relevant bank-wide strategic initiatives, ensuring business requirements, client impact and control obligations are understood and reflected in solution design

Senior Stakeholder Leadership and Management Information

  • Build trusted relationships across GCC, Accountable Client Owners and infrastructure functions, using influence and sound judgement to align stakeholders around risk-based outcomes.
  • Chair or contribute to governance forums and present concise updates, recommendations and decision requests to senior management and ExCo-level stakeholders.
  • Use data and management information to identify trends, forecast delivery risks, prioritise interventions and hold owners accountable for agreed actions.
  • Promote a culture of disciplined execution, early escalation, continuous improvement and consistent application of global standards across APAC.

Your skills and experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Corporate Banking or a Business Execution/COO function with good understanding of complex corporate and institutional client structures, KYC and AML/AFC requirements, periodic reviews, remediation, client perimeter controls and associated regulatory obligations.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in leading cross-functional initiatives, resolving complex or time-critical client issues and driving delivery across regional and global teams without direct authority.
  • Previous experience in identifying control gaps, assessing business and client impact, designing proportionate mitigants and escalating material issues appropriately.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with the ability to translate policy, regulatory and operational complexity into concise, business-relevant recommendations and executive-level materials.
  • Proven analytical and organisational capability, including management-information analysis, pipeline prioritisation, issue tracking and advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills.
  • Highly self-directed, resilient and collaborative, with the leadership presence and accountability expected of a Vice President; experience using automation or AI to improve processes.
  • Proven ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, optimise workflows to solve business problems, while applying critical judgment to ensure responsible and ethical use of data and AI outputs.
