Iron Mountain is seeking a highly strategic and motivated Customer Relationship Executive to join our Federal Contracting team.

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end management of strategic customer relationships within the Federal Market to drive business growth and ensure comprehensive contract success. You will serve as the essential "voice of the customer" directly to Iron Mountain's executive leadership team.

Our dynamic Federal Contracting team focuses on aligning innovative solutions with unique agency-specific challenges, working cross-functionally to turn complex opportunities into long-term organizational success.

What You’ll Do

In this role, you will:

Drive Account Growth and Portfolio Success: Own the end-to-end strategy for civilian agencies to maximize market share growth, successfully shifting partnerships from sub-contractor to Prime positions while consistently achieving high proposal win rates and contract renewal rates.

Collaborate across Senior Leadership and Internal Teams: Act as the strategic liaison between high-ranking agency officials, including the Senior Executive Service, and internal teams—including Sales, Business Line Subject Matter Experts, Operations, Contracts, Legal, and Enterprise Information Technology—to align solutions with agency needs.

Represent the Brand and Build Market Intelligence: Identify, cultivate, and maintain robust relationships with key government decision-makers by actively representing Iron Mountain at industry days, vendor outreach sessions, and government-sponsored events.

What You’ll Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 10–15+ years of dedicated experience in the Federal Market (specifically focusing on Civilian Agencies), including at least 5 years of experience in a mid-to-large-size account relationship management role for a Federal contractor.

Strong knowledge of complex acquisition strategies, including General Services Administration schedules, Other Transaction Authorities, and strategic subcontracting to partners and system integrators.

Proven ability to engage and influence at the C-suite level, utilizing an extensive network of current and former senior government leaders alongside the communication skills necessary to translate complex technical concepts into clear value propositions.

A Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (an active Top Secret security clearance and/or background as a former senior-level government official is highly desirable).

What We Offer (Benefits)

Competitive compensation and benefits aligned with experience.

Comprehensive health, wellness, and retirement plans.

Generous paid time off and scheduled holidays.

Flexible work options to support healthy work-life balance.

Robust opportunities for continuous learning and professional growth.

If you are a visionary relationship builder ready to drive meaningful growth in the Federal sector, we want to hear from you. Apply Now to take the next step in your career journey with Iron Mountain.

Reasonably expected salary range: $142,100.00 - $189,400.00

Please note that an employee's starting salary may vary based on a variety of factors. Where State, Municipal, Provincial, Territorial or other legal minimum wages exceed the federal minimum wage, employees are entitled to the higher rate.
