Deine Aufgaben:
- Betrieb und Weiterentwicklung unserer Dremio-Enterprise-Umgebung auf Kubernetes
- Planung und Durchführung von Dremio-Upgrades, inklusive Tests, Rollout über GitOps und Rollback-Strategien
- Verantwortung für Monitoring, Observability und Alerting von Dremio: Query-Performance, Ressourcenauslastung und Engine Health
- Laufendes Performance-Tuning und Engine-Kapazitätsplanung
- Verwaltung von Zugriffen und Berechtigungen (RBAC) in Dremio
- Analyse und Behebung von Störungen sowie Durchführung von Post-Mortem-Analysen
- Ansprechperson für Nutzer/-innen bei Fragen zu Dremio: Unterstützung bei Performance-Herausforderungen, Best Practices und Workload-Optimierung
- Aufbau von Dokumentation und Self-Service-Angeboten
- Ansprechpartner für Dremio-Herstellerkontakt bei Support-Fällen, Releases und Weiterentwicklungen
- Mitarbeit am Betrieb von Spark sowie an wiederverwendbaren Templates für Datenintegration

Dein Profil:
- Abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik, Data Science, Softwareentwicklung oder vergleichbar
- Mehrjährige Erfahrung im Betrieb verteilter Datensysteme wie Dremio, Trino, Presto oder Spark - inklusive Installation, Debugging und Performance-Tuning
- Praktische Erfahrung im Deployment und Troubleshooting von Workloads auf Kubernetes
- Sehr gute Python- und SQL-Kenntnisse (inkl. Optimierung)
- Erfahrung mit produktiven API-Integrationen und der Erstellung wiederverwendbarer Design Patterns
- Kenntnisse in S3-kompatiblem Object Storage von Vorteil
- Kenntnisse in Lakehouse-Technologien (Delta Lake, Iceberg) von Vorteil
- Erfahrung mit Workflow-Orchestrierung (Argo Workflows, Airflow, Dagster) von Vorteil

Unsere Löhne und Gehälter liegen über dem Kollektivvertrag (KV) der Elektro- und Elektronikindustrie. Die KV-Mindestwerte betragen zwischen € 3.888,53 und € 4.993,21 - mit Bereitschaft zur Überzahlung. Die genaue Höhe hängt von deiner Qualifikation und Erfahrung ab.
