As a Databricks + Agentic AI Manager you will lead client support work within our Data and Analytics Engineering practice, focused on data engineering solutions that turn raw data into usable insights and support data pipelines, integration, and transformation efforts. As a Manager you will lead teams, coach junior professionals, manage performance, and guide delivery across multiple workstreams while bringing judgment, business knowledge, and a practical approach to technology and innovation. In this role at PwC, you will help shape work around Databricks and agentic AI, coordinate deliverables, support client needs, and contribute to solutions that strengthen data infrastructure and analytics capabilities within PwC Acceleration Center Bangalore.

Responsibilities
- Leading data engineering workstreams that design and build Databricks and Azure-based data pipelines for client solutions
- Managing project planning, prioritization, and delivery across data integration, transformation, and validation efforts
- Guiding teams through development of data lake, data warehouse, and lakehouse architectures that support analytics use cases
- Reviewing solution designs for data modeling, performance tuning, query optimization, and database reliability
- Coaching team members on Apache Airflow, Azure Data Factory, and Databricks Unified Data Analytics Platform implementation methods
- Translating business requirements into scalable data infrastructure and pipeline designs that support AI-enabled workflows
- Coordinating delivery across technical stakeholders to address data quality, security, and operational issues
- Applying analytical thinking to identify dependencies, risks, and opportunities across complex data environments
- Supporting client-facing engagements by communicating technical progress, design choices, and delivery milestones
- Promoting responsible use of agentic AI, automation, and cloud data tooling in modern data engineering solutions
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Management Information Systems, Computer and Information Science, Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics

- Applying Agentic AI concepts to client-facing data engineering solutions
- Managing project planning, budgeting, execution, and delivery
- Mentoring teams through complex data architecture decisions
- Translating business needs into scalable analytics design
- Navigating ambiguity while advancing quality and timelines
