The DevOpsEngineerdelivers the Data Center Infrastructure consulting and Java scripting services related to data and web center transformation, consolidation, virtualization, automation & cloud solutions. The solutions addressthe businessrequirements and ensure that the requirements forthe management, ITprocessesand key technologies, such as aweb basedserver infrastructure.

Job specifics/responsibilities:

The responsibility as a technical consultant

Provide technology consulting to external customers and internal project teams

Maintain effective customer relationships so as to ensure partner satisfaction

Cluster deployment & node lifecycleincl. Golden Image design

Bare-metal automation

Patch, compliance and capacity management incl. health checks and reporting

Regularly supports the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer

Realization and implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in one of the following work domains:infrastructure orvirtualized platforms

Engages in technical problem solving across multipletechnologies oftenneeds to develop new methods to apply to the situation

Communicates with internal and externalcustomersconfidently anddemonstratesthe professionalism of the job family.

Key deliverables:

Build and operate the bare-metal, OS and cluster provisioning layer of the ACE environment

Support to the technical assessment and delivery of specific technical solutions to the customer

Realization and implementation of new installations, designs, and migrations for technology solutions in one of the following work domains:infrastructure orvirtualized platforms

Education (degree) and professional experience required:

Degree in computer science or equivalent

Real life experience in Cloud project delivery, including the design phase

Other requirements:

Fluent English language

German Language as advantage

Willingness to travel abroad.
