The Role

We are looking for a DvP Orchestration Engineer to design and develop the orchestration engine coordinating asset and digital-cash settlement legs for matched trades.

You will work across the transaction lifecycle, implementing robust settlement state management, atomicity, idempotency, retries, exception handling and recovery. You will integrate settlement flows with Taurus, cash-leg capabilities, blockchain and smart-contract technology, and downstream market infrastructure.

You will also contribute to end-to-end settlement testing, failure and recovery scenarios, reconciliation and production readiness.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and develop the DvP orchestration engine coordinating asset and digital-cash settlement legs for matched trades.
  • Implement settlement state management, atomicity, idempotency, retry mechanisms, exception handling and recovery across the transaction lifecycle.
  • Integrate settlement flows with Taurus, cash-leg capabilities, blockchain/smart contracts and downstream market infrastructure.
  • Support end-to-end settlement testing, including failure and recovery scenarios.
  • Support reconciliation, performance optimisation and production-readiness activities.

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong software engineering experience designing and developing transaction-processing, orchestration or settlement solutions.
  • Understanding of DvP settlement concepts, transaction lifecycles, state management, atomicity, idempotency and resilient distributed-system design.
  • Experience integrating complex systems through APIs, messaging, event-driven architectures or comparable integration patterns.
  • Experience with blockchain, distributed-ledger or smart-contract integrations, ideally within financial services or market infrastructure.
  • Ability to support testing, troubleshooting, reconciliation and production readiness across complex transaction lifecycles.

Bonus Points For

  • Experience with Taurus or comparable digital-asset infrastructure.
  • Knowledge of securities settlement, post-trade processes and downstream market infrastructure.
  • Experience integrating digital-cash or tokenised-cash settlement capabilities.
  • Understanding of reconciliation and exception management within transaction-processing environments.
