JoinLonza'sGlobalITorganizationasanEnterpriseArchitect, where you will play a key role in shaping and governing the technology landscape that supports Lonza's global business and digital transformation ambitions. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with business leaders, IT stakeholders,deliveryteams,andexecutivestodefineenterprisearchitecturestandards,guidestrategictechnologydecisions,andensuresolutionsarealignedwithbusinessobjectives,architecturalprinciples,andlong-termtechnologyroadmaps.
This is an office-first role. Workingtogetherinpersonsupportsclose,real-timecollaborationandteamalignment,enablingustodeliverourbestwork.Youwillworkprimarilyintheoffice,withtheflexibilitytoworkremotelyfor20%ofyourtime(onedayperweek).

Whatyouwilldo
- Define,implement,andmaintaintheEnterpriseArchitectureframework,processes,standards,andgovernancepracticesacrosstheorganization.
- Drivethedevelopmentandcontinuousimprovementofbusinesscapabilitymodels,applicationportfolios,technologyplatforms,integrationlandscapes,andarchitecturestandards.
- ManageEnterpriseArchitecturedeliverables,includingarchitecturereviews,governanceassessments,projectevaluations,andSoftwareReviewBoardreporting.
- Establishandmaintainenterprise-widearchitectureprinciples,standards,referencearchitectures,andtechnologyroadmaps.
- Standardizeandgovernapplications,integrations,infrastructure,andsecuritycapabilitiestoensurescalable,reliable,andsustainabletechnologysolutions.
- ReviewandsupportsolutiondesignsforITprogramsandprojectstoensurealignmentwithenterprisearchitecturestandardsandstrategicobjectives.
- Evaluate businessrequirementsandtranslatethemintoarchitecturerecommendationsthatbalancebusinessneeds,technologycapabilities,risk,andlong-termsustainability.
- Provide architecture leadership for complex business transformation, application modernization, data,integration,anddigitalinitiatives.
- Definecross-functionalarchitecturestrategiesandguidetechnologydecision-makingacrossmultipleprogramsandprojects.
- Collaborate with Business Capability Councils, Business Partners, IT Site Leads, Centers of Excellence, delivery teams, andprojectstakeholderstoalignbusinessandtechnologypriorities.
- Communicatearchitecturestrategies,concepts,androadmapstobothtechnicalandnon-technicalaudiences.
- Provideguidance,coaching,andeducationonEnterpriseArchitectureprinciples,practices,andstandardsacrosstheorganization.
- ConductEnterpriseArchitectureassessmentsandreviewstoensurecompliancewithestablishedarchitectureprinciplesandgovernancerequirements.
- Ensurealltechnologyprogramsandprojectsadheretoapprovedenterprisearchitecturestandards,principles,securityrequirements,andstrategicdirection.
- Supportgovernanceactivitiesthrougharchitecturereviews,exceptionmanagement,riskassessments,andrecommendationsforcontinuousimprovement.
- Contributetostrategictechnologyplanningbyevaluatingemergingtechnologies,industrytrends,andopportunitiesforinnovation.
Whatwearelookingfor
- ProvenexperienceinEnterpriseArchitecture,SolutionArchitecture,orrelatedstrategictechnologyleadershiproleswithincomplexglobalorganizations.
- StrongknowledgeofEnterpriseArchitectureframeworks,methodologies,governancemodels,andbestpractices.
- Experiencedevelopingandmanagingbusinesscapabilitymodels,applicationportfolios,technologyroadmaps,andarchitecturestandards.
- Strongunderstandingofapplicationarchitecture,integrationarchitecture,dataarchitecture,cloudtechnologies,infrastructure,andsecurityprinciples.
- Demonstratedexperiencereviewingandgoverningsolutiondesignsacrossmultipleprojects,programs,andtechnologydomains.

- Strongstakeholdermanagementskillswiththeabilitytoinfluencebusinessleaders,executives,andtechnicalteams.
- Experienceleadingarchitectureassessments,governancereviews,standardsmanagement,andcomplianceactivities.
- Knowledgeofdigitaltransformation,applicationmodernization,enterpriseintegration,andplatformstrategies.
- Stronganalytical,strategicthinking,andproblem-solvingcapabilities.
- Excellentcommunicationandpresentationskills,withtheabilitytoexplaincomplexarchitecturalconceptstotechnicalandnon-technicalaudiences.
- Experienceworkingwithinregulatedindustries,manufacturing,lifesciences,orglobalenterpriseenvironmentsispreferred.
- Bachelor'sdegreeinInformationTechnology,ComputerScience,Engineering,BusinessInformationSystems,orarelateddiscipline,orequivalentprofessionalexperience.
- EnterpriseArchitecturecertificationssuchasTOGAForequivalentarepreferred.
