This is a hybrid role requiring three days a week in our Frankfurt office.
What Will You Do
- Support the end-to-end processes of accounts payable and/or accounts receivable accounting
- Provide accurate data for weekly cash flow forecasting and payment proposals for assigned entities
- Assist the team with maintaining and reconciling general ledger accounts
- Act as the primary point of contact for incoming accounting-related mail and emails; handle inquiries independently or forward them to the appropriate person when necessary
- Review, verify, and post incoming invoices, including managing associated workflows and administrative tasks
- Support day-to-day accounting operations
- Clarify and reconcile accounts payable and inter company accounts
- Prepare payments and assist with payment runs
- Contribute to the creation of statistics, reports, and ad-hoc analyses
- Assist with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes in accordance with HGB/IFRS standards

What Will You Bring
- Successfully completed vocational training in a commercial or business-related field
- At least 4–5 years of professional experience in accounting, e.g. in accounts payable, accounts receivable, or general ledger accounting, or a combination of these areas
- Native-level or excellent business-level German and negotiation-ready English skills are required
- Professional experience with HGB (German GAAP) or IFRS
- Strong aptitude for numbers and a solid understanding of fundamental legal and regulatory accounting requirements
- Experience with ERP systems is required; knowledge of Oracle NetSuite is an advantage
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly Excel and Word
- Structured, reliable, and independent working style with a keen eye for detail
- Hands-on mentality, team orientation, and a willingness to take on operational tasks
