JoinourSiliconValidationteamandplayacriticalroleinenablingrobustHPSUSBsubsystemsfornext-generationFPGASoCdevices.Youwillleaddevice-levelandsystem-levelvalidationofUSBhost/devicefunctionality,HPSbootflows,connectivity,andperipheralintegrationtoensurehighreliability,interoperability,performance,andcustomerreadiness.
Thisroleprovideshands-onopportunitiesinSoCbring-up,USBprotocolvalidation,embeddedprocessorsystems,FPGA-HPSintegration,andadvancedsilicondebug,workingcloselywitharchitecture,design,firmware,andplatformteams.
KeyResponsibilities
- Developandexecutecomprehensivepost-siliconvalidationstrategiesforHPSUSBsubsystems,coveringUSB2.0/3.xHost,Device,OTG,Hub,andperipheralinteroperabilityscenarios.
- Performsystembring-upanddebugofHPSsubsystems,focusingonUSBconnectivity,protocolcompliance,resetsequencing,clocking,PHYinitialization,andhardware-softwareinteractions.
- CreateandexecutetestplansforUSBprotocolvalidation,interoperabilitytesting,stresstesting,performancebenchmarking,negativetesting,andcorner-casescenarios.
- Debugsiliconissuesusingprotocolanalyzers,oscilloscopes,logicanalyzers,JTAGdebuggers,andUSBcompliancetools.
- Driveroot-causeanalysisandissuetriageacrosssilicon,firmware,software,andplatformcomponents.
- DevelopautomationframeworksandregressionenvironmentsusingPython,TCL,Bash,orsimilarscriptinglanguages.
- Collaboratewitharchitecture,firmware,design,andboardteamstoimproveUSBvalidationcoverage,observability,anddebugcapabilitiesforfutureproducts.
- Driveinnovationinvalidationmethodologies,automation,andinfrastructuretoimprovequality,scalability,andexecutionefficiency

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’sorMaster’sdegreeinElectrical&ElectronicsEngineering,ComputerEngineering,ComputerScience,orarelatedfield.
- 8+yearsofpost-siliconvalidationexperiencewithemphasisonSoC,HPS,USB,orhigh-speedI/Osubsystems.
- StrongunderstandingofUSB2.0/3.xarchitecture,protocollayers,enumeration,linktraining,powermanagement,andcompliancerequirements.
- Experiencevalidatingembeddedprocessorsubsystems,includingbootloaders,Linuxenvironments,devicedrivers,memorybring-up,andperipheralvalidation.
- Stronghardwareandsoftwaredebugskillswithexperiencetroubleshootingcomplexsystem-levelissues.
- ExperiencewithUSBprotocolanalyzers(LeCroyVoyager,TotalPhase,etc.),oscilloscopes,andvalidationlabequipment.
- ProficiencyinPython,TCL, orsimilarscriptinglanguagesforautomationandtestinfrastructuredevelopment.
- FamiliaritywithFPGASoCarchitecturesandembeddedsystemsishighlydesirable
