- Optimize frontend reliability, state management, and web performance across distributed client environments
Backend Microservices & Cloud Infrastructure
- Design, implement, and maintain resilient APIs and microservices
- Contribute to our evolving architecture for a highly scalable solution
- Take ownership over components and support other teams using our services
System Quality & Continuous Delivery
- Invest in automation throughout the software development lifecycle to uphold software quality
- Participate in technical design discussions, peer code reviews, and CI/CD pipeline improvements

- Solid experience in software development across web applications and backend services
- Legal authorisation to work in the UK
- Ability to join us in-person at our Edinburgh city centre office 2 days per week.
Technical Expertise & Experience
We encourage you to apply even if you don't check every box. We value transferable skills, enthusiasm, and diverse perspectives.
- Programming Skills: Strong foundational skills in at least one general-purpose programming language (such as Golang, Python, C, C++, Rust, or Java).
- Web application development using a JavaScript/TypeScript framework such as React, Angular, or Vue.js

- Cloud & Distributed Systems: Experience with cloud environments and infrastructure as code.
