We are looking for a Full-Stack Software Engineer with strong front-end expertise in React and practical back-end experience with Java and Spring Boot. In this role, you will build responsive, intuitive web applications; integrate user interfaces with scalable services and databases; and collaborate with product, design, quality assurance, and engineering partners to deliver reliable software. The ideal candidate combines sound engineering practices with strong user-experience awareness, analytical problem-solving, and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and deploy responsive, accessible, and visually consistent user interfaces using React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Translate wireframes, mockups, and product requirements into reusable, maintainable front-end components.
  • Develop and maintain back-end APIs and services using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Integrate front-end applications with RESTful APIs or GraphQL services.
  • Write and optimize SQL queries to support application functionality, performance, and data integrity.
  • Improve application speed, scalability, reliability, and usability through performance analysis and sound engineering practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers, designers, quality assurance professionals, and engineers throughout the software development lifecycle.
  • Write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews.
  • Use Git, npm, and related development tools to maintain code quality, version control, and build automation.
  • Troubleshoot defects, resolve production issues, and contribute to continuous product improvement.
  • Participate in Agile planning, estimation, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Stay current with modern front-end, back-end, cloud, and user-experience practices.
  • Three or more years of professional software development experience, with substantial hands-on front-end development experience.
  • Strong proficiency in React, TypeScript or JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
  • Experience with Node.js and npm-based development workflows.
  • Working knowledge of Java and Spring Boot, including the ability to implement and maintain straightforward back-end APIs.
  • Strong SQL skills, including the ability to write efficient, well-structured database queries.
  • Experience integrating web applications with RESTful APIs; GraphQL experience is also welcome.
  • Proficiency with Git or a comparable version-control platform.
  • Strong understanding of responsive design, usability, browser compatibility, and front-end performance.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a remote, cross-functional environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • One or more years of experience working in an Agile software development environment.
  • Experience with DevOps practices, automated testing, and continuous integration and delivery pipelines.
  • Familiarity with AWS or another cloud platform.
  • Experience with browser debugging, profiling, and performance-testing tools.
  • Knowledge of secure coding practices, API authentication, and scalable application design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
