Job Details:

This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Start time for this position is 1:52pm.

Pay = 16.75/hr.

Job Description: Back up transfer machines. Hanging birds into empty shackles, insuring birds are hung by two legs, taking one-legged birds off line and placing onto rack.

Job Synopsis: Position backs-up transfer machines continuously. Taking birds that were not hung and have dropped onto belt and hanging them into eviscerating shackles. Birds that were improperly hung by one leg are manually hung by both legs. One-legged birds are removed from the table or shackle and placed onto a rack for manual evisceration by floor help. Adjust picking line speed to prevent pile-up on belt while insuring speed is sufficient to keep eviscerating lines full. Operates light system that communicates with live hangers.
