We are currently looking for a Hostess
- Welcome guests to the venue
- Provide accurate wait times and monitor waiting lists
- Responsible for fielding telephone calls and organising reservations, floor plans and table allocations
- Consider the satisfaction of all guests by ensuring prompt, courteous and efficient service at all times
- Assist the department to drive guest satisfaction by providing consistent guest experiences.
- Report positive and constructive guest feedback to the manager
- Understand the importance of the guest arrival experience – and strive for consistency
- Assist with consistency of the restaurant presentation, labelling and signage
- Escort guest to assigned dining or bar areas
- Maintain a clean reception area
- Cater to guests who require extra attention (e.g. children, elderly)
- Assist wait staff as needed
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
- Promptly handle guest queries, complaints and all issues in a professional manner and ensure that all details are communicated to the Supervisor or Outlet Manager

Experience:
- Previous experience in a large hotel with at least 500 keys in a luxury property required
- Pre-opening experience is an advantage
Requirement:
- Proven work experience as a Hostess
- Active listening and effective communication skills
- Flexibility to work in shifts
- High school diploma: food safety training is a plus
- Team spirit
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to perform well in a fast-paced environment
