Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer (.NET Full Stack) to design, develop, and support scalable enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in Microsoft technologies, cloud-native development, modern frontend frameworks, and microservices architecture. This role requires technical leadership, hands-on development, mentoring, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and support.
Design and develop scalable, secure, and maintainable enterprise-grade applications using .NET technologies.
Build intuitive and responsive user interfaces using Angular and modern web technologies.
Develop and maintain REST APIs, microservices, and backend services.
Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to define and implement technical solutions.
Lead technical discussions, design reviews, and code reviews while ensuring adherence to development standards and best practices.
Support Agile delivery processes and participate in sprint planning, estimation, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
Drive application performance optimization, scalability improvements, and troubleshooting activities.
Partner with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployment processes.
Resolve production issues and provide ongoing application support.
Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering technical excellence within the team.
Contribute to architecture decisions and technology roadmaps.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
Minimum 9+ years of software development experience with enterprise applications.
Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft .NET technologies, including:

.NET Core / .NET 6+
ASP.NET Core
C#
Entity Framework Core
LINQ

Strong frontend development experience with:

Angular (Version 12+ preferred)
TypeScript
HTML5
CSS3
JavaScript
Bootstrap or equivalent UI frameworks

Experience designing and developing:

RESTful APIs
Microservices architecture
Event-driven applications

Strong database expertise in:

Microsoft SQL Server
PostgreSQL
Database design and performance tuning
Stored Procedures and Query Optimization

Experience with:

Git
Azure DevOps or GitHub
Branching and release management strategies

Strong understanding of:

Object-Oriented Design Principles
Design Patterns
SOLID Principles
Secure Coding Practices

Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and mentor development teams.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, verbal, and written communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services:

App Services
Azure Functions
Azure Service Bus
Azure SQL
Azure Storage
Azure Key Vault

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Experience implementing DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
Knowledge of authentication and authorization frameworks such as OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect, and Azure AD.
Experience with application monitoring and observability tools.
Exposure to Generative AI, AI-assisted development tools, or AI-powered enterprise solutions.
Azure, Scrum, or Agile certifications are a plus.
Insurance, financial services, or enterprise application experience is preferred.
