IT Operations Support Lead (Relocation to Singapore)

How you'll make impact

Airwallex IT Operations provides the technology support and site operations that help employees work effectively across our offices. As the IT Operations Support Lead, you'll own the Singapore site and provide regional support across Southeast Asia.

Own IT site operations, reliability and the employee technology experience for our Singapore office.

Drive escalated regional support for offices across Southeast Asia, including Malaysia, Vietnam and Indonesia, while partnering with the global IT team to resolve issues quickly.

Deliver hands-on technical support across macOS, Windows, hardware, networking and major SaaS applications, including Google Workspace, Okta, Confluence, Jira and Zoom.

Lead onboarding and offboarding, AV and events support, executive and VIP support, vendor management, procurement, inventory and office technology projects in partnership with Workplace, Information Security, People Operations, Facilities and Real Estate.

Improve IT Operations through clear documentation, more efficient workflows using AI, and process improvements informed by team feedback.

You'll work from our Singapore office five days a week.

What we're looking for

Essentials

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with the ability to support technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience leading IT site operations or serving as the primary IT owner for a regional or remote office.

Strong technical troubleshooting skills across hardware and software, including macOS and Windows environments.

Intermediate networking troubleshooting skills, including common Wi-Fi, DNS and office network issues.

Experience with basic administration of Google Workspace, Okta, Confluence, Jira and Zoom.

Strong awareness of what it takes to run a site, including operations, partnerships and coordination across concurrent projects and competing priorities.

Ability to operate autonomously with good judgment, attention to detail and flexibility.

A patient, empathetic and dependable approach to supporting employees.

Strong documentation skills, with the ability to write clear, concise guides in English.

Ability to multitask and work through competing priorities efficiently.

Experience working in a high-growth, multinational technology company and across different cultures.

Experience providing on-site and remote technical support to employees and contractors.

Experience supporting meeting rooms, all-hands spaces and other office technology.

Experience managing vendors, service providers, logistics, procurement or inventory.

People management or leadership experience, or experience acting as a technical lead in an IT Operations role.

Preferred

Experience in financial services, fintech or payments.
