Iron Mountain is seeking an adaptable Deployment Technician - Intermediate to join our Service Delivery & Operations team.

In this role, you’ll play a pivotal part in keeping our clients' IT infrastructures running smoothly by delivering expert on-site hardware and software installation, repair, and technical support. You will have the opportunity to troubleshoot complex field issues that go beyond standard phone support, helping modernize client systems while ensuring maximum operational uptime. By pairing technical problem-solving with clear communication, your work directly protects customer productivity and helps build seamless digital environments.

What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:

  • Deliver Onsite Technical Support: Install, troubleshoot, and repair PC hardware, peripherals, and standard office equipment directly at client sites.
  • Resolve Complex Escalations: Diagnose and solve higher-level technical issues that cannot be resolved through routine phone help desk support.
  • Support Network & Systems Operations: Partner with regional engineering teams to assist with first-level LAN/WAN technical support, emergency site visits, and system backups.
  • Maintain Documentation & Service Logs: Utilize service desk tools to log, monitor, and resolve support requests while maintaining accurate hardware, software, and asset documentation.

What You’ll Bring
The ideal candidate will have:

  • 1–2 years of technical experience in IT service installation, field repair, or desktop support.
  • Strong knowledge of PC hardware, peripherals, operating systems, and standard business applications.
  • Proven customer service and interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interface effectively with on-site clients.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for regional travel, along with a flexible schedule for emergency site visits.
  • An Associate or Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (HSC required; ITIL certification is a plus).
