As a Java Full Stack - Director, you will lead the development of innovative software solutions that drive digital transformation and enhance business performance. Within our Technology Consulting practice, you will focus on designing, coding, and testing applications that revolutionize industries and deliver exceptional user experiences. As a Director, you will set the strategic direction and lead business development efforts, making impactful decisions and overseeing multiple projects while maintaining executive-level client relations. You are expected to be a guardian of PwC's reputation, understanding that quality, integrity, inclusion, and a commercial mindset are foundational to our success. In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will drive thought leadership, develop new ideas and solutions, and promote technological advances, creating an environment where people and technology thrive together. You will identify gaps in the market and convert opportunities into success for the firm, adhering to professional and technical standards. Responsibilities
- Leading the development and implementation of innovative software solutions to drive digital transformation
- Overseeing multiple software engineering projects, confirming alignment with strategic business goals
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and test applications that enhance user experiences
- Driving business growth by identifying market gaps and converting opportunities into successful projects
- Mentoring and guiding the next generation of leaders in software engineering and product innovation
- Promoting technological advances and fostering an environment where people and technology thrive together
- Managing client relationships and engagements to maintain satisfaction and deliver exceptional service
- Developing new ideas and solutions, driving thought leadership within the software engineering domain

- Confirming compliance with professional and technical standards, adhering to the firm's code of conduct
What You Must Have
- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 16 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- Preference for at least one of the following fields of study: Artificial Intelligence, Business Analytics, Computer and Data Engineering, Computer Science, Human Computer Interaction, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems/Technology, Machine Learning, Management Information Systems, Software Engineering
- Demonstrating proficiency in Java and JavaScript for full-stack development
- Utilizing experience with microservices architecture and API management
