Opportunity Overview:

This is a hands-on, strategically oriented leadership role embedded within our Clinical Operations and Commercial organizations. The right candidate brings sharp analytical instincts, a bias for action, strong business partnering capabilities, and the ability to deliver reliable financial leadership at a pace that keeps up with a fast-moving commercial business. Beyond technical finance execution, this role requires someone who can act as a trusted business partner - working closely with internal stakeholders to influence decisions, shape strategy, and drive financial accountability across functions.

What you'll do:

  • Own and lead capacity modeling for Clinical Operations staff - ensuring headcount is tightly aligned with patient volume, operational targets, and cost objectives, while flagging risks and maintaining alignment with approved plans
  • Own headcount management reporting across Clinical Ops and Commercial teams - tracking actuals, performing detailed actual vs. plan variance analysis, identifying root causes, quantifying impacts, and presenting clear narratives to leadership with speed and precision
  • Lead budget and forecast cycles in close partnership with Operations and Commercial leaders - building rigorous, bottoms-up models that are both data-backed and actionable
  • Own and maintain gross margin workbooks on a monthly basis, incorporating actuals with precision and producing variance commentary that drives decision-making
  • Conduct ROI and cost-impact analysis on process improvements, product changes, and new initiatives - providing data-driven recommendations that guide spend decisions and resource allocation
  • Serve as a trusted financial advisor to Clinical Operations and Commercial leadership - proactively identifying financial risks, opportunities, and trade-offs that inform strategic business decisions
  • Build and maintain dynamic financial models using Adaptive Insights (Workday Adaptive Planning) to manage planning cycles, scenario modeling, and real-time financial reporting with efficiency and accuracy
  • Leverage AI-powered tools and automation to streamline recurring analysis, surface insights faster, and continuously elevate the speed and quality of financial deliverables
  • Build and nurture strong cross-functional relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring finance is embedded in key operational and commercial discussions rather than operating as a back-office function
  • Translate complex financial data into strategic narratives that enable stakeholders to act with confidence and clarity
  • Champion a culture of financial discipline, proactive ownership, and data-driven decision-making across partnered functions
  • This role calls for a high standard of work and a genuine commitment to getting things right. We value people who take pride in what they produce and bring both care and urgency to everything they do.
  • High-quality deliverables - we value work that is thorough, well-presented, and something you are proud to put your name on
  • Speed without sacrificing accuracy - the ability to turn around analysis quickly while maintaining rigor
  • Proactive ownership - you anticipate needs, flag issues early, and drive resolution without being asked
  • Availability and responsiveness during East Coast US hours, including overlap for leadership calls, planning sessions, and ad hoc requests
  • A continuous improvement mindset - always looking for ways to do things better, faster, and smarter
