Job Description

Job Title: Manager – Financial Reporting and Compliance

Education Qualification: Qualified Chartered Accountant / Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant

Experience: 1–2 years post-qualification or semi qualified chartered accountant with 5-6 years of experience

Job Responsibilities

This position will support key accounting and compliance activities for the Group:

Assist in preparation of standalone and consolidated financial statements in accordance with Ind AS on a quarterly and annual basis;
Assist in the preparation and review of quarterly results and related disclosures as per applicable regulatory requirements;
Support the limited review and statutory audit processes by coordinating with statutory auditors and internal auditors and providing required schedules and workings;
Prepare and maintain related party transaction schedules, disclosures and reports in compliance with Ind AS 24 and SEBI LODR requirements;
Prepare presentations on related party transactions to be presented to audit committee on quarterly basis;
Maintain working knowledge of Ind AS standards;
Coordinate effectively with various other teams to ensure timely and accurate reporting;
Use Excel proficiently for preparation of financial schedules, MIS reports, data analysis and audit workings;
Assist in implementing and improving processes to ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies;

Desired Candidate Profile

Qualified Chartered Accountant with 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in financial reporting or audit or semi qualified chartered accountant with 5-6 years of experience.
Sound knowledge of Ind AS and its practical application in financial statement preparation;
Exposure to listed company compliance and processes is preferred;
Experience in assisting with statutory / limited review audits and dealing with audit queries;
Familiarity with consolidation accounting and related party reporting;
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas, pivot tables and data management;
Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across teams and functions;
Ability to manage multiple deliverables and meet stringent deadlines;
Knowledge of / exposure to ERP systems is an advantage;
Detail-oriented, proactive and a strong team player.
