Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled MERN Developer with 3–5 years of experience in building scalable, high-quality web applications using the MERN stack. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and NestJS, along with a solid understanding of software design principles and modern engineering practices.
The role involves working independently on software development initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients, and contributing to the design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of applications.
Job Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable software applications using the MERN stack, NestJS, and GraphQL.
- Work independently with a broader understanding of project objectives, architecture, and business requirements.
- Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, unit testing, debugging, and documentation.
- Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and high-quality code aligned with SOLID principles and established coding standards.
- Design and implement APIs using REST and GraphQL.
- Work with MongoDB/Mongoose and other SQL/NoSQL databases as required.
- Troubleshoot and debug application issues, with guidance from senior team members when required.
- Participate in technical discussions with internal teams, partners, and clients.
- Follow established development, release, and deployment processes.
- Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical documentation.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior software engineers.
- Participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
- Develop a strong understanding of the company's platform, products, and processes.
- Identify opportunities for technical and process improvements and contribute to their implementation.

Job Requirements:
Must Have:
- 3–5 years of professional software development experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack:MongoDBMongooseExpress.jsReact.jsNode.js
- Strong experience with TypeScript.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with NestJS.
- Mandatory hands-on experience with GraphQL, including API development and integration.
- Good understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and object-oriented design concepts.
- Experience writing effective unit and integration tests.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of both NoSQL and SQL databases.
- Experience with cloud-based application development and deployment.
- Exposure to Docker and containerization.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
- Basic awareness of event-driven architecture and Kafka.
- Experience with Git and GitHub.
- Familiarity with JIRA or similar project-management tools.
- Good communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to actively participate in technical discussions and contribute to team decisions.
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and self-motivated approach.
Good to Have
- Experience with Microsoft Azure.
- Experience with Serverless architecture.
- Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
- Stronger expertise in MongoDB and database performance optimization.
- Experience with Node.js ecosystem and build/development tools such as:BabelWebpackJestESLintHelm
- Experience with GraphQL tools/frameworks such as Apollo GraphQL or WunderGraph.
- Experience with event-driven systems and Kafka.
- Experience with orchestration/automation tools such as n8n.
- Experience with application monitoring and troubleshooting using Grafana and Loki.
- Exposure to Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms
