Location- Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai

Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled MERN developer with 3–5 years of experience in building scalable, high-quality web applications using the MERN stack. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with MongoDB, React.js, Node.js, TypeScript, GraphQL, and NestJS, along with a solid understanding of software design principles and modern engineering practices.

The role involves working independently on software development initiatives, collaborating with cross-functional teams and clients, and contributing to the design, development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement of applications.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop, enhance, and maintain scalable software applications using the MERN stack, NestJS, and GraphQL.
Work independently with a broader understanding of project objectives, architecture, and business requirements.
Participate in requirements analysis, solution design, development, unit testing, debugging, and documentation.
Write clean, maintainable, scalable, and high-quality code aligned with SOLID principles and established coding standards.
Design and implement APIs using REST and GraphQL.
Work with MongoDB/Mongoose and other SQL/NoSQL databases as required.
Troubleshoot and debug application issues, with guidance from senior team members when required.
Participate in technical discussions with internal teams, partners, and clients.
Follow established development, release, and deployment processes.
Contribute to code reviews, knowledge sharing, and technical documentation.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior software engineers.
Participate in training and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Develop a strong understanding of the company's platform, products, and processes.
Identify opportunities for technical and process improvements and contribute to their implementation.

Job Requirements:

Must Have:

3–5 years of professional software development experience.
Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack:MongoDBMongooseExpress.jsReact.jsNode.js
Strong experience with TypeScript.
Mandatory hands-on experience with NestJS.
Mandatory hands-on experience with GraphQL, including API development and integration.
Good understanding and practical application of SOLID principles and object-oriented design concepts.
Experience writing effective unit and integration tests.
Experience developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
Knowledge of both NoSQL and SQL databases.
Experience with cloud-based application development and deployment.
Exposure to Docker and containerization.
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment practices.
Basic awareness of event-driven architecture and Kafka.
Experience with Git and GitHub.
Familiarity with JIRA or similar project-management tools.
Good communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to actively participate in technical discussions and contribute to team decisions.
Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and self-motivated approach.

Good to Have

Experience with Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Serverless architecture.
Experience with Terraform / Infrastructure as Code.
Stronger expertise in MongoDB and database performance optimization.
Experience with Node.js ecosystem and build/development tools such as:BabelWebpackJestESLintHelm
Experience with GraphQL tools/frameworks such as Apollo GraphQL or WunderGraph.
Experience with event-driven systems and Kafka.
Experience with orchestration/automation tools such as n8n.
Experience with application monitoring and troubleshooting using Grafana and Loki.
Exposure to Kubernetes or other container orchestration platforms.
