To strengthen our team in Kloten, Zuerich or in Morbio Inferiore, Ticino we are looking for a motivated and experienced Manager in the Seafreight sector. If you are passionate about international logistics, enjoy taking responsibility, and are eager to grow in a dynamic environment, then you are the right person for us!

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Maintain and develop a positive relationship with assigned accounts through pro-active communication and providing timely and accurate information
Create and maintain an effective department organization
Prepare, execute, monitor and update at regular intervals the business plan for the department
Be responsible for compliance and quality issues for the ocean product
Ensure that productivity and profitability goals for ocean department are met
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors
Proactively communicate with the team to ensure continuous awareness and understanding of policies and regulations
Be open to implementing new system changes and enhancements into your department

5+ years of leadership experience in the Ocean Freight department of a freight forwarder
Ability to define, develop and document business processes and procedures
Effective interpersonal skills. Ability to relate to customers and employees at all levels.
Professional oral and written communication skills in English and native language
Native speaker skills or fluency in German is a must
