Job Title
Power Platform Governance Specialist
Job Description
About the role
As a Power Platform Governance Specialist, you help shape how the Power Platform is governed, adopted, and enabled across Vanderlande.
The platform is growing rapidly and is increasingly used for enterprise applications, automation, and self-service enablement. This growth creates opportunities as well as challenges around governance, ownership, standards, and consistency. In this role, you help move from a more ad-hoc way of working to a structured and scalable approach that supports both control and adoption.
A solid understanding of the Power Platform is essential. You understand how makers, developers, and business users work with the platform and can translate that experience into practical governance and enablement improvements.
You act as the bridge between Platform Teams and Digital Acceleration, ensuring governance supports platform stability, delivery speed, and business enablement. While a solid understanding of the Power Platform is important, the focus is not purely on development. A significant part of the role involves guiding governance processes, defining standards, supporting platform adoption, and facilitating collaboration between teams and stakeholders.
This role is an excellent next step for Power Platform professionals who want to expand their impact beyond solution delivery and take more ownership in governance, standards, adoption, and platform enablement.
You do not need prior experience in a formal lead role. We value curiosity, initiative, stakeholder engagement, and the ambition to grow into a broader platform governance position.
Your responsibilities

Support the design and improvement of governance framework for the Power Platform
Define and maintain guardrails, standards, and policies
Support self-service adoption while ensuring security and compliance
Facilitate governance discussions and help drive decision-making across teams
Act as a key contact for Digital Acceleration, Security, and M365 on governance-related topics
Translate decisions into clear guidance for teams
Coach teams on governance practices and their purpose
Align governance with environment strategy, ALM, and DevOps
Support Power Platform administration activities, including environment management, tenant settings, capacity monitoring, connector governance, and admin center follow-up
Govern the IT Automation Framework at platform level, not delivery

Facilitate governance sessions and support stakeholder alignment
Define and document governance processes and ways of working
Help teams work autonomously within guardrails
Monitor platform changes and translate them into governance improvements
Perform and coordinate recurring administration tasks such as reviewing environments, monitoring capacity and usage, following up on compliance signals, and supporting operational requests
Your profile
You combine platform understanding with strong stakeholder and coaching skills.
Solid Power Platform knowledge and a good technical foundation
Several years of experience working with Power Platform solutions, governance, or platform-related initiatives
Experience with Power Platform administration topics such as environments, connectors, DLP policies, capacity, tenant settings, or the Power Platform admin center
Comfortable working across technical and organizational domains
Strong communicator and natural connector
Able to facilitate discussions, align stakeholders, and help drive decisions
Coaching mindset with a focus on standards, adoption, and enablement
Technical affinity is important, but this is not primarily a hands-on development role
You may currently work as a Power Platform Developer, Consultant, Functional Specialist, Administrator, or Solution Specialist and are looking for an opportunity to broaden your scope within a growing enterprise platform
