Powerpoint Presentation Analyst

What You'll Do

Presentation Design & Development

• Develop, format, and enhance high-impact PowerPoint presentations using content provided by internal teams and clients.
• Transform draft slides, workshop outputs, storyboards, and existing materials into professional, executive-level deliverables.
• Improve slide structure, visual hierarchy, readability, and overall communication effectiveness.
• Apply consistent formatting, branding, and presentation standards across complex slide decks.
• Manage presentation updates and revisions through multiple stakeholder review cycles.

PowerPoint Expertise

• Act as the subject matter expert for PowerPoint best practices.
• Create and maintain presentation templates, themes, Slide Masters, and asset libraries.
• Leverage advanced PowerPoint functionality, including: Slide Masters Custom layouts SmartArt Advanced chart formatting Interactive navigation and hyperlinks Animations and transitions Template development and optimization
• Troubleshoot and repair complex presentation files while ensuring they remain editable and production-ready.

Data Visualization & Visual Communication

• Design PowerPoint-native graphics, diagrams, frameworks, process maps, timelines, organizational charts, and infographics.
• Develop effective visual representations of scientific, medical, commercial, and business concepts.
• Create compelling charts, graphs, and data visualizations that simplify complex information.
• Translate technical and data-heavy content into engaging audience-friendly presentations.

Quality Control & Collaboration

• Conduct thorough reviews to ensure accuracy, consistency, and adherence to brand standards.
• Verify formatting, typography, alignment, spacing, animations, and hyperlinks across presentations.
• Maintain exceptional quality standards throughout all deliverables.
• Partner closely with internal stakeholders to incorporate feedback effectively and efficiently.
• Manage multiple concurrent projects while meeting deadlines and client expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, Multimedia Design, Communications, or a related field preferred.
• Equivalent professional experience will also be considered.
• 3-5 years of experience developing professional presentations or serving as a PowerPoint Specialist.
• Proven portfolio demonstrating advanced presentation design and visual communication capabilities.
• Experience supporting healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, consulting, agency, or corporate environments is highly desirable.

Required Skills

• Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Advanced knowledge of Slide Masters, template creation, and presentation architecture.
• Strong presentation design, information design, and layout skills.
• Advanced charting, graphing, and data visualization capabilities.
• Ability to create sophisticated diagrams and visual frameworks directly in PowerPoint.
• Strong understanding of visual storytelling and presentation best practices.
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical communications, or life sciences organizations.
• Experience working in creative, communications, consulting, or agency environments.
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, including: Adobe Illustrator Adobe Photoshop
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Experience supporting scientific, medical affairs, market access, commercial, training, or corporate communication initiatives.
