What will I be doing?

At Sweep, product development is a highly collaborative effort between engineering, design and our customer-facing teams. On this mission, you'll work with the Ginkgo team, the squad PMs who build on Sweepy, and Legal.

Sweepy is becoming a platform that every squad builds on. The Ginkgo team can't write and maintain every skill alone, and evaluation is the prerequisite for everything ambitious on the roadmap. You'll work on the projects below and stay responsible for the activities that keep Sweepy reliable.

Projects you'll work on

Build a reliable AI evaluation system. Define how we evaluate AI performance across key product flows, with clear quality standards, representative datasets and automated evaluations

Make it easier to build and ship new AI capabilities. Create a simple and scalable way for product teams to propose, test and release new AI capabilities while maintaining a consistent level of quality

Keep product knowledge accurate and up to date. Improve how our AI accesses and maintains product knowledge, so answers stay aligned with the latest product capabilities and documentation

Make our AI faster and more cost-efficient. Explore and implement ways to improve performance, reliability and cost as usage and capabilities scale

Bring AI into the product experience. Make our AI assistant more deeply integrated into the product, with a better understanding of what users are doing and the context they are working in

Explore new ways to interact with our platform. Define how emerging AI standards and interfaces can extend how customers and external tools interact with our platform

Ongoing responsibilities

Review how customers use our AI. Regularly review real customer interactions to identify issues, recurring needs and opportunities, and turn them into product improvements and evaluation cases

Set the standard for AI evaluation. Define how test and evaluation datasets should be built and maintained across product teams, while keeping ownership within each domain

Help product teams build with AI. Give teams the guidance, tools and support they need to build AI capabilities, and help maintain consistent patterns and quality across the product

Shape AI product direction and priorities. Help define where AI can create the most value in the platform, which problems we should solve next and how we prioritize them

Lead discovery, specs and testing. Own the core product management work for AI initiatives, from understanding the problem to defining the solution and validating what we ship

Keep AI policies and compliance up to date. Maintain customer-facing AI policies and documentation, keep up with relevant regulatory requirements and work with Legal when needed

Support customer-facing teams on AI. Help answer customer questions about our AI capabilities, how they work and how usage is measured

That sounds just right for me. What do I need to bring?

Glad you asked. This is who we’re looking for:

Qualifications 🏆

The ideal candidate would check most of the following:

5+ years of experience in software-as-a-service environments in the B2B space

Hands-on experience with AI-powered products, ideally LLM-based assistants or agents

Familiarity with evaluating AI features: datasets, thresholds and regression testing

Solid understanding of user research principles, problem framing and requirements elicitation

Experience collaborating closely with engineering teams on complex or data-driven features

Experience serving several product squads from a platform or shared team

Working knowledge of AI governance and data-use questions, ideally the EU AI Act

Proficient in English, French is a bonus

Qualities 🧠

Fantastic communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization

Curiosity and pragmatism when approaching AI: focused on real user value rather than hype

Comfort operating in ambiguity, with a strong sense of ownership and quality

Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work with a high degree of autonomy

Patient and clear when helping squad PMs build on Sweepy

Empathetic and people-oriented mindset, to ensure a positive experience throughout each customer interaction

Passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive ESG impact through product innovation

Copy that. And what’s in it for me?
