The Allegro team is united by a clear purpose—advancing technologies that make the world safer, more efficient, and more sustainable. With over 30 years of experience in semiconductor innovation, we bring that purpose to life across every part of the business—from breakthrough product development and customer success to how we show up for each other and the communities we serve.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an energetic, commercially minded, and technically proficient Product Marketing Manager to join our High Performance Power team reporting directly to the Business Line Director.

In this pivotal role, you will act as the bridge between market demand, technology innovation, and business execution. You will drive both inbound product definition (understanding customer pain points, market trends, and defining next-generation ICs) and outbound marketing execution (go-to-market strategies, product launches, collateral generation, pricing, and revenue growth). You will work closely with IC Design, Applications Engineering, System Architecture, Global Sales, and key OEM/Tier-1 customers worldwide.

What You'll Do

Product Strategy & Roadmap Definition (Inbound Marketing)

  • Collaborate with the Business Line Director, Lead Architects, and Systems Engineering to define the multi-year product roadmap for high-performance power solutions (e.g., Power Management ICs, DC-DC regulators, and Application Specific power products).
  • Conduct voice-of-customer (VOC) interviews with key automotive, industrial, and data center customers to capture explicit technical and commercial requirements.
  • Translate customer pain points into actionable Market Requirement Documents (MRD) and Product Requirement Documents (PRD) with clear feature prioritization and value propositions.
  • Perform comprehensive competitive analysis, benchmarking, and teardowns to maintain an enduring competitive advantage.

Go-to-Market & New Product Introductions (Outbound Marketing)

  • Lead end-to-end New Product Introduction (NPI) launch plans to ensure commercial readiness upon tape-out and silicon release.
  • Partner with Technical Marketing and MarCom to generate compelling technical collateral, including product briefs, datasheets, white papers, application notes, selector guides, and customer-facing pitch decks.
  • Define and roll out evaluation kits, reference designs, and software/GUI collateral in coordination with Applications Engineering to accelerate customer design-in cycles.
  • Deliver technical and commercial training to Allegro’s direct sales teams, Field Applications Engineers (FAEs), and global distribution partners.

Business Development & Revenue Growth

  • Drive design-win momentum and pipeline health by actively tracking key customer opportunities through Allegro’s CRM.
  • Formulate and manage value-based pricing strategies, gross margin targets, and quote escalations across volume tiers and geographical regions.
  • Participate directly in strategic customer engagements, technical deep-dives, and contract negotiations alongside regional sales teams.
  • Develop five-year revenue, unit volume, and Average Selling Price (ASP) forecasts to feed into manufacturing operations and financial planning.

Cross-Functional Execution

  • Serve as the commercial champion across product phase-gate reviews from concept through mass production.
  • Work in lockstep with Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality teams to manage product lifecycle decisions, lead-time expectations, capacity planning, and product change notifications (PCNs).

Who You Are

  • Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering (MSEE) or an MBA.
  • 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in product marketing, applications engineering, technical marketing, or systems engineering within the semiconductor industry.
  • Strong foundational understanding of analog and mixed-signal semiconductors, power management ICs, gate drivers, or motor control topologies.
  • Solid grasp of semiconductor business models, pricing strategies, market sizing (TAM/SAM/SOM), and design-in/design-win sales lifecycles.
  • Demonstrated track record of successfully bringing new IC products from concept phase through volume commercial ramp.
  • Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills; comfortable presenting to C-level customer executives as well as engineering design teams.
  • Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority in a matrixed global organization.
  • Capable of domestic and international travel (approx. 15–25%) to customer sites, industry conferences, and design centers.
