YOUR IMPACT STARTS HERE
We're looking for a Production Engineer to join our Operations team supporting the Duluth, GA facility, reporting to the Production Engineering Supervisor. In this role, you'll own production engineering tasks — from part codes and Bills of Materials to CAD-generated machine programs and runtime estimates — while also preparing detailed cost estimates for production projects. You'll work closely with production teams to resolve drawing interpretation issues, optimize processes, and ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and environmental requirements. This is an opportunity to bridge engineering and cost estimation, helping keep production running efficiently and projects accurately scoped.
WHAT YOU'LL BUILD & OWN
Production Engineering
- Create and maintain Bills of Materials for part codes
- Create new part codes for parent and children parts
- Create routers for estimated production runtimes
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, standards, and environmental requirements
- Monitor production progress and provide necessary assistance to address any issues with the interpretation of drawings
- Create programs using CAD software such as SolidWorks to generate machine programs and drawings needed for production
- Evaluate runtimes for orders, and identify and optimize processes
Cost Estimation
- Validate the existence of equipment capabilities, material availability, and necessary skill sets to manufacture the project
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for production projects, including labor, materials, and overhead costs
- Analyze project specifications, drawings, and other documentation to create accurate estimates
- Review and adjust estimates based on project changes and updates
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD or SolidWorks
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Ability to communicate with multiple groups across departments and work in a team environment
WHAT SETS YOU APART
- Prior experience in a steel or metal fabrication manufacturing environment
- Experience preparing customer-facing submittals or technical documentation

- Career development programs and internal promotion pathways—we build from within
- Tuition reimbursement and continuous learning opportunities
Build A Better Future
- Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage
- Retirement savings plans with company match
