Do work that matters
As a Premier Relationship Manager, you’ll manage and grow a portfolio of high net worth customers, developing trusted relationships and delivering a genuinely holistic banking experience.
You’ll spend time understanding what matters to each customer, identifying opportunities across their complete banking relationship and bringing together the right solutions and expertise from across CommBank.
You’ll have ownership of the relationship from end to end - maintaining regular contact, completing quality financial health checks, supporting complex lending needs, growing and retaining deposits, and identifying opportunities to deepen the relationship.
You’ll also build strong referral networks across CommBank and externally, helping attract new customers to Premier Banking while creating an exceptional experience for your existing portfolio.
What you’ll do
Build trusted, long-term relationships with high net worth customers by developing a strong understanding of their financial position, priorities and goals.
Manage customers holistically across lending, deposits, everyday banking and broader financial needs.
Deliver quality financial health checks and use customer and portfolio insights to identify relevant opportunities.
Structure and support complex home and investment lending solutions, maintaining ownership throughout the customer journey.
Grow and retain customer deposits while helping customers make informed decisions about how they manage their overall banking relationship.
Proactively manage your portfolio through meaningful, regular customer contact rather than waiting for a banking need to arise.
Develop new-to-bank and new-to-Premier relationships through referrals, existing CommBank networks and external relationships.
Partner closely with Associates and specialist teams across areas including business banking, investments, financial advice and protection to connect customers with the right expertise.
Take ownership of customer needs and follow through on commitments, creating a seamless experience across CommBank.
Stay curious about your customers, portfolio and market, continually looking for better ways to create value for customers and grow the business.
We’re interested in hearing from people who have
At least 2 years’ experience in complex mortgage lending.
Strong experience building and managing customer relationships within banking, financial services or a similar environment.
Experience working across a diversified range of products and customer needs, rather than focusing solely on lending.
Commercial capability and confidence identifying opportunities to grow and deepen customer relationships.
A strong customer mindset and a track record of delivering high-quality, personalised service.
The ability to take ownership, work autonomously and follow customer needs through from start to finish.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to build productive relationships with colleagues, referral partners and specialists.
The curiosity to understand what sits behind a customer’s immediate request and identify what else they may need.
The ability to perform in a fast-paced, portfolio-based environment while maintaining a high standard of customer experience.
Certificate IV accreditation in lending or equivalent (preferred).
Relevant accreditation across deposit products and general insurance (preferred).
