About the role
We are currently looking for a Resident Geotechnical Engineer who will support the effective implementation and supervision of project activities in accordance with contractual, technical, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review the design prepared in Detailed Design phase and prepare Construction Drawings for issuance to the Contractor.
- Examine the sub-soil investigation reports, shop drawings, work plan/schedule, quality assurance plan and methodology submitted by the Contractor and, if found satisfactory, recommend them for approval.
- If any technical problem arises during construction, provide appropriate solutions.
- Oversee the successful construction of earthworks.
- Carry out any other work assigned by “The Engineer” as per the provisions of the ToR.
- Perform other tasks assigned bythe Client.
About You:
- He/She should have bachelor's degree in civil engineering. Preferably master's degree or equivalent in relevant fields
- He/she should have about 20 years of general/professional experience and generally 15 years of similar experience in similar field of Geotech/Foundation/Underground/Soil Investigation with minimum 5 years' experience as Geotechnical Engineer/Foundation Engineer
