Responsibilities
- Assist Consultants/ Professional Engineers (M&E) / Clients in the supervision and quality assurance of construction works on site;
- Provide standing supervision as and when required by the Consultants / Clients;
- Ensure all installation methods and material used are in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications;
- Liaise and close coordination with RE and RTO of other disciplines;
- Liaise with the contractors/ sub-contractors in the coordination of site works;
- Highlight discrepancies, resolve site M&E issues and monitor site progress;
- Feedback site progress and irregularities to Consultants / Clients;
- Attend site meetings, site inspections, testing and commissioning;
- Check as-built drawings to tally with site installation;
- Ensure the contractors maintain work safety, cleanliness and tidiness of the site;
- Document site records, ie. Inspection records, T&C records, site meetings etc.

Requirements
- ITE/Diploma in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering from a recognized institution and registered with IES / ACES as a Resident Technical Officer
- Minimum 5-8 years of M&E work experience as a Resident Technical Officer
- Conversant in local construction practices in air-conditioning, electrical, ELV, fire protection, plumbing and sanitary services, BMS
- Good co-ordination skills
- Good analytical ability with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and team player
