Sensata Technologies is looking for a Sales Specialist in Europe to lead growth with customers in one of our highest growth areas in the company - the Commercial Equipment (CE) business. The primary responsibility is to develop and win new business opportunities for mission-critical sensor-rich solutions that help our customers deliver a safer, cleaner, more efficient and electrified world. Our customers include the market-leading OEMs and world’s most recognizable brands in the commercial vehicle, agriculture equipment and construction machinery markets. This Sales Specialist position will be responsible for growth with Agriculture and Construction Equipment manufacturers based in Europe.
Our industry is experiencing exciting technology shifts driven by global mega trends that are creating significant growth opportunities with our customers. Our leading market position enables Sensata to capitalize on this growth as we continue to invest in these new technologies. We are looking for an eager sales team member to drive growth in these areas and grow within the organization.

General Responsibilities
• Responsible for selling the company’s products, services and/or solutions
• Informs customers of company promotions and upgrades
• Qualifies leads, identifies decision makers, determines customer needs
• Explains product/service alternatives
• Recommends the most suitable products/services
• Identifies features and benefits, overcomes customer objections, and closes sales
• May respond to inquiries and resolve problems
• Prepares required sales documentation
Experience / Qualifications
• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
• Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers
Base Salary Range:
59,600.00 EUR - 81,840.00 EUR
The salary range is published in line with the EU Pay Transparency Directive and relevant country legislation.
Starting Salary
The starting salary offered will be based on objective, gender-neutral criteria , (e.g internal equivalency, relevant skills, experience, qualifications etc.). Applicants will not be asked for salary history.
