Senior Associate, Strategy & Corporate Development

On the M&A side, the team is responsible for evaluating and executing various mergers, acquisitions, and divestiture opportunities. This work spans financial valuation analytics, comprehensive due diligence management, and the creation of strategic business case presentations.

This role has been filled with people from a variety of different backgrounds. What's driven success is candidates who are eager to learn, take on new tasks, and willing to step outside their comfort zone.

This is a hybrid opportunity based at the corporate headquarters (Tuesday – Thursday) in Waltham, Massachusetts.

Key Skills

Strategy:

• Strong storyteller, able to translate complex problems into clean, concise PowerPoint presentations
• Comfortable preparing materials for and presenting to senior leadership on core internal initiatives
• Conducts market analysis to support company-wide and individual business unit strategy; experience leveraging core strategy frameworks

Financial / M&A

• Proficient in financial modeling and leveraging external resources to build financial business cases
• Able to independently build out and maintain sections of financial models and financial analysis, with review on assumptions and structure

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree AND
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in Consulting, Investment Banking, Corporate Development, Investor Relations or Strategic Marketing

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience within Healthcare, Life Science and/or Diagnostics industries preferred
• Proven ability to effectively work within teams in a fast-paced environment, Adept at using networks & interpersonal skills to support change

The base salary range for this full-time position is $115,000.00 - $140,000.00. This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.

Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
